Intermarket Surveillance Group

This organisation aims to provide a framework for sharing information and coordinating regulatory efforts among exchanges trading securities and related products to address potential intermarket manipulation and trading abuses. The ISG was created in 1983 by the major US securities exchanges in response to the growing need of marketplaces to share information regarding securities and related products to facilitate the conduct of routine markets.
