| In the UK, a claimant making a claim in respect of life assurance will have to provide evidence of identity and that he/she is entitled to the proceeds, invariably by submitting the policy document. In the event of a claim following the death of the life assured, the death certificate will also need to be submitted to the insurers by the legal representatives of the deceased. |
