Virt-x |
| A London-based, pan-European stock exchange, owned by SWX, the Swiss stock exchange. Virt-x (short for virtual exchange) launched in 2001 when trading in Swiss blue-chips switched to virt-x in London. The previous year, SWX had combined with Tradepoint, an electronic trading platform set up in the 1990s as a rival to the London Stock Exchange. Tradepoint and SWX then set up virt-x, which is regulated by the FSA. |
